Optiflor without microplastics: same method, new technology
We have revised the formula of our Optiflor carpet cleaning product - it is now free of microplastics and complies with EU Regulation (EU) 2023/2055. Important for you: The proven, fast and effective method of dry shampooing is thus retained.
The challenge - and why microplastics worked:
In professional carpet cleaning, microplastics used to bind dirt deep in the fibres, but kept them relatively dry. This meant that the dirt could be easily vacuumed away after a short time and the carpet could be walked on again quickly. The new EU regulation now bans this microplastic.
The problem with many alternatives (NOT with Optiflor):
Many simple, particle-free wet processes soak carpet fibres very thoroughly. Although they remove dirt, they often require rinsing and drying times of up to five days. This is usually impractical for professional use.
Buzil's solution - The "secret" of the new Optiflor:
This is exactly where our research comes in. The most important innovation in Optiflor is an innovative technology with special particles that do not fall under the EU regulation's definition of microplastics. The highlight: these particles effectively bind or encapsulate the dirt, similar to before - but without heavily soaking the carpet! After a short drying time, the bound dirt particles can be vacuumed up, for example.
Your advantage: Time savings are retained
Thanks to this technology, we avoid the long drying times of wet processes. The new Optiflor ensures that the carpet can be walked on again quickly, which is the decisive advantage of the method.
What will change for you? Almost nothing
Instead of the previously milky liquid, you now use a clear product. The application, dosage, effectiveness and, above all, the time-saving method remain the same.
