The IHO List contains antiseptic disinfectants for hands, surfaces and instruments. The list is a compilation of effective disinfectants for use in the fields of food production and processing and also in the veterinary sector. The entries on the effectiveness of products rely on tests according to European standards.
A saturating treatment for solid, porous substances, such as textiles, paper, wood and concrete amongst others, with dissolved, emulsified or dispersed substances, the impregnating agents. After the solvent or dispersing medium has evaporated or dried, the substances give the treated materials altered usage characteristics such as e.g. water-resistant properties.
