Initial surface cleaning is undertaken after construction is completed or after the first cleaning. It creates a film on the surface of the floor and protects against the effects of mechanical or discolouration processes, as well as making regular cleaning easier.
"Ceran" is the brand name for ceramic glass hobs made by Schott AG.
Ceramic glass conducts thermal radiation perfectly and efficiently, without expanding in the process, and without transferring heat to surrounding surfaces. It shares the same aesthetic as glass and also feels the same. At the same time, however, it possesses a high degree of heat resistance and stability, i.e. it is tremendously scratch-resistant.
Products containing chlorine are used at swimming pools, amongst other locations, to kill off bacteria, in particular mould fungus;. this is because chlorine has an oxidative effect on organic tissues.
Chlorine-based bleaching agents are also employed in some washing detergents, although chlorine-containing bleaching lye is very harmful to the environment. Modern washing detergents therefore use more environmentally-friendly oxygen-based bleaching agents.
Chrome is a metal which is used in the home, notably for fittings. It also appears, however, as a pigment in paints and varnishes.
Chrome and its compounds are employed in every situation which demands visual appeal combined with a high degree of resistance. In the home, its resistance to corrosion is a significant advantage.
When cleaning chrome fittings, the rule of 3 should always be applied: first pre-wet, then clean, then rinse.

Types of system:
Care should be taken to dose cleaning chemicals as accurately as possible. Incorrect dosages lead to cleaning problems. Excessive dosages harm the environment unnecessarily and lead to more surfactant residues on the surfaces to be cleaned. In this way, an actual film of lubricant may build up on the floor surface, attracting dirt and presenting an unattractive appearance. Streaks or stripes build up on gleaming surfaces.
CLP stands for Classification, Labelling and Packaging. The CLP Regulation entered into force in January 2009, and the method of classifying and labelling chemicals it introduced is based on the United Nations' Globally Harmonised System (GHS).
Is a protective or wearing layer on surfaces.
To help you quickly and confidently select the correct cleaning agent, Buzil provides a helpful and improved colour-coding system on the labels indicating product applications and cleaning performance.
The resistance of dyes and prints to various effects to which they are subjected during manufacture and in textile use. (Specialised standards committee "Material testing", provided by the "German Standards Committee" (DNA)). Before cleaning, colour-fastness should be tested on a small, non-visible area.
Cleaning product components which are used to soften water. In modern products, phosphates are replaced with e.g. ecologically harmless citrates.
Premises with especially high safety requirements, such as operating theatres, rooms for high-frequency surgery and computer rooms, require a conductive floor covering to prevent electrostatic discharges. Special textile, elastic or ceramic floor coverings are available to enable these areas to conform to these requirements.
Artificial silica flour-based hardening and treatment for scratched surfaces; the processes work on the principle that lime-containing stone – e.g. lime-containing artificial or natural stone (marble, travertine, terrazzo, concrete stone) – is sensitive to acid. The treated surface becomes more resistant to scratches and its appearance is improved (increased degree of shine).
Special liquid which changes limestone crystals on a stone surface into silicate-like crystals. These crystals are transparent and allow the colours of the stone to shine through.
