Buzil already started the phase out and replacement of butyl glycol from all products two years ago. For over a year now, all our products are butyl glycol-free - with the same or in some cases even improved performance.

The safety of the user and the protection of the environment are our top priorities. That is why the decision to remove butyl glycol from our products was made early on. In doing so, we have pre-empted a possible legal change in classification and also the butyl glycol fact paper of the IHO, the BG Bau and the Bundesinnungsverband des Gebäudereiniger-Handwerks from December 2021. The stakeholders are also in favor of a different classification of butyl glycol.
